It’s that time of year again. We’re at the point in the semester that has a large portion of Georgia State University students on edge; finals season. As some finals commence, others wrap up, and in tandem, the office of Black Student Achievement has finished its last event for the 2019-2020 academic school year as well. Black Student Achievement has hosted a plethora of diverse events such as Hot Wings, Hot Topics and its subsidiary Black Political Dialogue to Where’s Falcon: Discussing Black Representation in the World of DC & Marvel. Truly, the 2019-2020 academic year has been one of the most well attended years in the history of the office and our numbers are now public.

Collectively, well over 1,000 students attended our events and academic support initiatives (including those who attended multiple events). The office of Black Student Achievement is proud to have reached out and provided to all these Georgia State University students and hopes to provide resources to even more in the next academic year.
